Explored in 1884 by Edouard-Alfred Martel, “La Cité de Pierres”, this imaginary city drawn by nature, covers 120 hectares, in the heart of the Causse Noir in Montpellier-le-Vieux.
Relive Martel exploration, from a few hours to a day, and, in turn, discover it as you wish. Let yourself be told the history of this mysterious city on board with the “little train of the city”, fly over it in zip lines and via ferrata, stroll in complete safety on routes from 50mn to 3h.
With the Explor’Games, with family or friends, dare to take up the challenge of “the Ark of the Mysteries”; outdoor digital treasure hunt. Your mission, to liberate the Amathis civilization petrified for millennia.
15km from Millau and Rozier, “La Cité de Pierres” offers sumptuous landscapes and a discovery of rocks with unusual shapes. “La Porte de Mycènes”, one of the most emblematic, is a masterpiece of nature and was the filming location for the film La Grande Vadrouille, with Bourvil and De Funès. Take the time to come, in relaxation or sports mode, the essential is here to recharge your batteries in the heart of this natural setting.
