MRAC Sérignan: The Museum dedicated to contemporary art near Béziers
Located in Sérignan, on the Mediterranean coast near Béziers, the Regional Museum of Contemporary Art is an essential artistic and tourist destination in Languedoc.
Covering 3,200 m², it presents temporary exhibitions and a permanent collection, affirms strong artistic choices, supports French and international artists and invents new forms of art mediation.
The exhibition rooms are large and bathed in natural light.
Designed by Daniel Buren, the work ‘Rotation’ envelops the entire museum with colours on all the glass surfaces, creating visual effects both inside and outside.
In this friendly and bright atmosphere, different spaces offer visitors a rich and diverse experience: a graphic arts cabinet, exhibition spaces and a bookshop-boutique offering a wide selection of exhibition catalogues, artists’ books and original editions.
