About

Ambrussum, archaeological site with its celebrated place in antiquity and the Ambroix bridge has also brought to light a Gaulish oppidum surrounded by ramparts, a Roman staging post on the Via Domitia, Gallo-Roman homes and a paved roadway more than 2000 years old.

The museum recounts Ambrussum’s history from the first occupation by mankind to the archaeological excavations.
