About

Ambrussum, with its celebrated place in antiquity and the Ambroix bridge has also brought to light a Gaulish oppidum surrounded by ramparts, a Roman staging post on the Via Domitia, Gallo-Roman homes and a paved roadway more than 2000 years old. The museum recounts Ambrussum’s history from the first occupation by mankind to the archaeological excavations.

Museum:

From October to May: from 2 pm to 5:30 pm (except on Monday).

In June and September: every day from 10 am to 12:30 am and from 2 pm to 5:30 pm (except on Monday).

In July and August: every day from 10 am to 12:30 am and from 2:30 pm to 7 pm (except on Monday).

The museum is closed in January and on November the 1st and December the 25th.
