Abbaye de Valmagne

About

Open to the public since 1975, Valmagne is well known to all archaeologists and lovers of old monuments. Come and discover the gothic cathedral and its huge wooden wine vats; admire the beautiful cloisters and ancient chapter house and take a stroll through the medieval gardens. This wine making abbey also offers free wine tastings and the restaurant menu is based on organic and local products.

This magnificent and protected setting hosts the restaurant of the Frère Nonenque, many exhibitions and a summer music festival.

From June the 15th to September the 30th: every day from 10 am to 6 pm

Guided tours at 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 2:45 pm , 3:45 pm, 4:45 pm

From Easter to June the 14th: from Monday to Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm and on Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays: from 10 am to 6 pm.

From October the 1st to April the 4th: from Monday to Saturday from 2 pm to 6 pm. On Sunday, bank holidays and holidays from 10 am to 6 pm.

Sunday morning is closed in January

The restaurant is opened for lunch each Sundays and bank holidays and during holidays.
