Saint-Adrien garden
These medieval basalt quarries have been transformed into a spectacular landscaped garden of 4 hectares (about 10 acres) – a genuine oasis where the volcanic rock is now surrounded by a lush vegetation and cool stretches of water. The sky and the earth lead you to discover the garden step bystep : an extraordinary diversity of plant species and rock, light and water areused to create a series of remarkable natural scenes. Listed as « Jardin Remarquable » by the Ministry of Culture. Listed in the top five «Parcs de France» in 2003 by the Association of Journalists of Gardening and Horticulture Bonpland Prize in 2000, attributed by the French National Horticultural Society
