Lodève Museum,
Cardinal de Fleury’s mansion
Set up in the Cardinal de Fleury’s family mansion, this elegant building is typical from the mansions of the XVII and XVIII century of the area. The museum is divided into two kinds of collections : a collection of earth sciences and archeology and a collection of fine arts wich displays numerous contemporary artists. Great summer exhibitions are organized each year as Bonnard or Kinsling and, in 2011, the exhibition is dedicated to Louis Valtat « Valtat, at dawn to the fauvism », from the 2nd of June to the 16th of October.
